| Through the Project Uplift Foundation, the 501(c) 3 arm of the KAA Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., deserving high school students in DeKalb County have been awarded more than $100,000 in scholarships at the Annual Scholarship Dance held in October each year. The Scholarship Ball is one of the many annual fundraising activities sponsored by the Foundation to assist Project Uplift in providing resources to the community.
The criteria are:
- Male resident of DeKalb County who has excelled academically and positively contributed to his community.
- Financial need.
- Scholarship.
